A key part of our environmental obligation is the protection of the natural environment. With this in mind, only timber that has received Forest Stewardship Council accreditation (FSC) is used in the manufacturing process. The accreditation recognises that the timber is derived from managed, sustainable sources and can be traced literally back to its roots. By meeting the requirements of the FSC the wood is guaranteed to meet stringent environmental, social and economic standards.

All of the products are produced from chipboard manufactured from environmentally friendly alternatives to imported hardwoods. None of the Rixonway products are produced using real wood veneers.
