As part of our ISO14001 objectives we monitor external plant noise levels on a monthly basis and routinely monitor noise levels onsite to ensure compliance with the Noise at Work Regulations 2005. Routine noise assessments are carried out whenever there is a change in layout, working practices or equipment which may affect the acoustic profile within the working environment.

By regularly reviewing environmental performances we incorporate a process of continuous improvement. Diesel, gas and electricity energy usage is monitored via an environmental scorecard system which has enabled the business to reduce energy consumption levels. The implementation of an energy policy coupled with a programme of environmental projects has resulted in a further reduction in the amount of energy used.
