Estimator
We are currently looking to strengthen our team in the Estimating Department with the addition of an Estimator. The role involves using a Planit CAD system for the design of kitchens, taking off drawings, reading architect’s plans and working from bills of quantities, to produce quotations.
Duties of the role include:
Preparing daily quotation mail, Processing of customer enquiries to produce quotations, Liaison with external and internal customers, Data entry using product codes, checking, reporting and correcting errors, Comprehensive recording of information, Filing new quotations, tenders and archiving. Following up instructions issued to the external sales force relating to enquiries (monitoring performance against target), General housekeeping tasks,
The successful applicant will have:
Good analytical, literacy and numeric skills, Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets, Good communication skills and telephone manner, The ability to work accurately, The ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative, Experience of working to high standards and tight deadlines is essential, Excellent customer service skills,

Distribution Team Leader
We currently have a vacancy for a Distribution Team Leader to oversee the day to day operation of the Warehouse and Loading operations.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
Ensuring all Warehouse and Loading staff are organised so as to meet the company’s defined daily requirements and closely supervise all distribution activities.
Monitoring the day to day performance of the End of the Line, Marshalling, Loading and other Warehouse Operative staff for throughput and quality.
Overseeing the Plot Sortation operation throughout the department.
Overseeing the Marshalling operation from the End of the Line into the Warehouse.
Taking responsibility for progress and chasing all items required that have not arrived in the Warehouse.
Encouraging and developing all aspects of Lean procedures throughout the department.
Ensuring that all goods are processed and loaded in line with the daily requirements.
Ensuring that at all times the day to day operations of the Warehouse are carried out safely and in line with the requirements of the company’s Health & Safety policy and all applicable current legislation.
Assist in recruitment and the personal development of the distribution staff so as to meet the current and future requirements of the company and its customers.
All applicants must have: Experience of man management within a Warehouse environment. The ability to make decisions on a day to day basis. Strong leadership qualities. Intermediate level Word and Excel skills. The ability to prioritise and organise workloads. Experience of absence management and interviewing would be advantageous, as would Lean Manufacturing qualifications.

Edging Machinists
£17,900 - £19,800pa depending upon experience
Rixonway Kitchens Limited supplies kitchens to the social housing market and has seen significant growth over recent years which is planned to continue for the foreseeable future.
We currently have opportunities for experienced Edgeband Machinists to join our Machine Shop, producing high volumes of mfc panels for kitchen cabinet assembly.
Successful applicants must have experience of operating single, double or combination edgeband machines along with the ability to work accurately within a high volume manufacturing environment.
The working hours are 40 hours per week on a weekly rotating shift pattern of earlies and lates:
Early Shift 5.30am – 2.00pm Monday to Friday
Late Shift 2.00pm – 12.30am Monday to Thursday
