A vacancy has arisen for an HR Officer to join the busy Human Resources team. The role will involve providing generalist HR advice and information on employment law to Managers, Team Leaders and employees on a day-to-day basis. Main responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the weekly payroll function
Implementing absence management systems
Co-ordinating recruitment and selection for factory personnel
Conducting inductions and company training schemes
Dealing with maternity, paternity and flexible working requests
Arranging, attending and taking minutes during formal meetings
Reviewing contract changes and issuing relevant paperwork

The ideal candidate will be:

CIPD qualified
Experienced at providing advice to Managers
An excellent communicator
Able to prioritise, manage and develop others
Professional in their approach

IT First Line Support Assistant

This exciting and varied role will see the postholder support the IT department in responding to increased call volumes and various project requirements.

The successful applicant will take on a non-technical role within a fast paced IT environment, however there is also the opportunity for a more technical role to be embraced through the completion of vocational training.

Main duties include updating and maintaining the IT support management system, log all calls, managing the inventory and setting up all new members of staff.

The ideal candidate will have:

An excellent telephone manner, great typing skills, a willingness to learn, excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise workloads and excellent communication skills.

It would be beneficial for candidates to have:

An interest in pursuing a career in IT, detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to work in a busy environment.
